For one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies, we carried out various modifications and extensions to the existing stainless steel piping.
Prefabrication and Field Installation
Every modification was carefully measured, drawn and prepared in advance, with particular attention to fit-up. We used orbital welding to complete the fitted pipe sections, both during prefabrication and in the field, in line with the requirements for these critical zones.
Working within the existing skids and installations made this project particularly challenging. Access was limited in several areas and called for careful preparation.
Quality Control and Documentation
During and after the work, our team carried out quality checks. The welds were inspected visually and internally using a video endoscope. Where conditions allowed, we also pressure-tested sections to verify that the piping was leak-tight.
The project was completed and handed over, together with the associated records and quality documentation.
